Our Mission

NAVA addresses the need and importance of retirement income preparation and management for retirement-focused Americans, and within this mission, NAVA focuses on the growth, acceptance and understanding of annuity and variable life products to fulfill important objectives of retirement income planning. NAVA provides educational and informational resources to our members and the public; NAVA protects customers by encouraging adherence to the highest ethical standards by insurers, distributors and all other participants in our diverse industry; and NAVA protects and advances the interests of our members.

We're the Voice of the Industry

NAVA sponsors a renowned series of annual conferences devoted to every aspect of the annuity and variable life products industry.
NAVA's member-driven committees offer members the opportunity to make their voices heard on a variety of important industry and association issues.
NAVA publishes a monthly newsletter NAVA Outlook, which keeps members informed about important issues affecting their business. Starting January 2006, Outlook will be incorporated into Annuity Market News.
NAVA produces educational materials and information resources which can be used both internally, and with consumers.
NAVA performs a wide variety of ongoing public relations and awareness functions for the industry.
