Notice of Association Standardization and Simplification Initiatives

NAVA, through its Technology Committee, is engaging in various initiatives to identify, research, endorse and communicate technological directions for the benefit of the annuity and life insurance industry. The Committee currently is considering standardizing a "product profile" and certain data transfer methodologies, which may play a significant role in the way the industry processes data. The Technology Committee and possibly other NAVA committees expect to engage in additional industry standardization and simplification initiatives in the future.

Members of the annuity, brokerage, and data processing industries and all other interested parties are invited to participate in the activities of NAVA's Technology Committee and other committees. Membership in NAVA is a prerequisite for participating in association committee activities.
